 Fall, Glorious Fall!

What's not to like?  Cooler temperatures, falling leaves, pumpkin spice coffee, and Pumpkins!! 

Who says Fall décor has to be orange and brown?  I say Nay Nay!

 Well, unless you want it to be orange...

 

 Purple is nice too!  I've made these glamorous pumpkins out of vintage silk beaded evening gowns and real pumpkin stems.  No two are exactly alike.

 For a wedding or a bridal shower, why use the same old/same old kind of pumpkins?  Step up your glam with these wedding worthy pumpkins!

 

 

Little pumpkin baby shower?  Voila!

 I even made fur pumpkins!

Bippidy Boppidy Boo!

Oh, where IS that fairy godmother?!

Right here, I say!  Need the plastic orange Halloween pumpkin decor to be transformed into Cinderella Worthy Pumpkins?  Voila!!
 

 I made this over-the-top white pumpkin for a lovely lady who who was decorating a party for her adult daughter's birthday.  The aqua pumpkins below were for the same party....I want to go to a party like this!

I'm ready for my close up!

The lady's daughter was quite happy to be the guest of honor.  What a sweet mom she has to want to make this party so special for her.

As Cinderella's mom said in the most recent Cinderella movie:  "Have courage, and be kind."  Be kind to someone today; they just might need a little kindness.  You never know what kind of day/week/year they've had.  "Have courage, and be kind."

Elegant Autumn Pumpkins

How about some elegance this Halloween and Fall?  I never decorated much for Halloween and Fall because I just didn't like much of the décor or the black and orange color scheme.  So....I had to make my own decorations!  What else!  Pretty and elegant -- that's what I like to create --  here are some of the pretty pumpkins I've been making for several months.  I start with a vintage beaded gown, some dried pumpkin stems, some vintage jewelry, and here is what I come up with...

Isn't the turquoise pretty?  But I couldn't stop there....

And if that's not enough....I had to do some velvet ones as well...

And last, but not least, how about some ever classic black and white?

 

 

I've been having lots of fun...every time I make a new one, my daughter gasps with delight!  We are ready for Halloween and Autumn!
