Baby Memory Jar

Oh, those sweet baby days!  They just don't last very long, do they?  No matter how old they are, we still enjoy the baby photos, don't we?  Here's how I've displayed the photos of my own little cuties...
Sweet little vintage baby shoes along with photos of my babies...

A little bling and crochet lace, ribbons and antique keys add to the nostalgic feeling...

Here is the whole vignette...
Pretty jars dressed up with labels from The Graphics Fairy, ribbons and jewels and feathers, oh my!

Sweet votives adorned with vintage crochet lace sit on top of old books from estate sales.  This little white bridal book is my favorite.

This black architectural piece came from a church.  I still haven't figured out what it says at the top...does anyone know?

Wouldn't it be great if these shoes actually belonged to my own children?  Hahahahaha...alas, they do not!  My baby girl never wanted to wear shoes - she would ALWAYS take them off!  And I didn't think to keep my son's baby shoes.  So, these sweet vintage shoes were bought at estate sales and flea markets...oh well...if you kept your babies' shoes, your display will be even more sentimental!  I did keep my daughter's first ballet shoes - we hang those on the Christmas tree every year.  They are adorned with jewels, of course! : )

This coffee pot was $10 in an antique store - I snatched it up quickly!!

Love these pretty green books!

How do you display your memories?

Here's what else I've been working on lately...
Pretty pillows!!

I embroidered these while watching my son's baseball tournament...tournaments are all weekend long...I need a little activity in with all that baseball watching.

Hmmm, deciding whether to make this a small pillow or a wall hanging...
