Happy Easter

Happy Easter to you!  I'm sharing my easter mantle decorations with you today!
 Both moss and paper bunnies.
I made the paper bunnies with a combination of scrapbook papers, wrapping papers, ribbons and stickers.

Even the eggs got royal treatment!

Lace and jewelry make everyting fabulous!

The sweet banner:  I made this banner using images from the ever lovely graphics fairy.  Six out of the seven images are from her website.  I sewed them to fabric rectangles and then sewed a ribbon across the top.
...Ooooooohhh!  Now to embellish!!!
 Lots of sweet pastels

I used a combination of vintage laces, crochet, tatting, velvet, and vintage beaded fabric.

Must always add vintage jewelry!

Jesus is risen image is the largest image right in the middle of the banner.  This image came from nagasho.net.

More lace and baubles...

 Close - ups

Hope this inspires you to make your own Easter creations!
Happy Creating,
Catherine

Family Collage for Baby

Here's a sweet project I did for my sister-in-law.  She wanted to give a gift at a baby shower, and asked me to make a personalized project similar to one that I had made for my niece.  For my niece, of course, I used family photos of her family.  For this baby, my sister-in-law emailed me photos of of the baby's family, and I re-sized them in powerpoint.  Then chose a shape to put on baby's shirt.  Printed the pics onto fabric, and sewed them onto the baby shirt!  Voila!  Instant heirloom sure to make grandma and grandpa smile!!

Any shape will do, of course!  I used the tooth shape below because the mommy is a dental hygenist.  Personalize it for whatever interest the family has.
A tie will always work for a baby boy!
Happy Creating!
